The ISL6293-2CR-T is an integrated ultra-low power standby buck converter and charger IC for single-cell Li-Ion/Polymer battery systems. It offers an optimized solution for applications that need very low sleep current but still require a fast charge rate. ISL6293-2CR-T can operate from an input voltage supply of 4.5V up to 32V and can charge a single-cell battery up to a maximum of 4.2V.ISL6293-2CR-T is a highly efficient and integrated device, combining a buck converter and charger into one device. The buck converter can draw as low as 600nA current when operating in Shutdown mode, providing extended battery life. The charger includes three charge current setting pins allowing a wide range of user-defined charging currents. It also includes safety features, such as overvoltage protection and thermal regulation, that keeps the cell voltage below the maximum allowed voltage and prevents possible damage to the battery cell.The buck converter supports a wide range of input voltage conditions and can deliver up to 600mA of output current.
