LT3061MPDCB#TRPBF is a low quiescent current, adjustable, low-dropout linear regulator (LDO) voltage controller specifically designed for portable applications. It has a wide range of adjustable outputs from 0.84V to 6.5V, and delivers up to 250mA of continuous output current. The on-chip voltage reference is trimmed to better than 1% accuracy over line and temperature, ensuring that the output accuracy is maintained even with a large range of load conditions and input voltages. The LT3061MPDCB#TRPBF also features a fast start-up delay, as well as output over-current and/or thermal protection for added safety.

The LT3061MPDCB#TRPBF is suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including consumer electronics, automotive, industrial, communications, and medical products. It is ideal for portable device power applications, such as those found in digital still cameras and PDAs, where very low quiescent current and low dropout voltage are required. It is available in a space-saving 3mm × 3mm nine-pin DFN package, and is also capable of suspension dropout operation at higher input voltages.

Aside from input and output voltage, the LT3061MPDCB#TRPBF’s thermally enhanced package and low quiescent current make it the perfect choice for applications where power dissipation is a key factor. The device offers an adjustable accuracy of better than 1% over line, load, and temperature and exhibits very low dropout voltage, allowing it to keep high efficiency levels without sacrificing output accuracy.

The LT3061MPDCB#TRPBF has a wide range of operation including: a low quiescent current of 6uA max at 3V, adjustable output voltage from 0.84V to 6.5V, and output current up to 250mA. It has an over-temperature protection feature that shuts down the output when the die temperature reaches the upper or lower limit.
