The LT3080IST#PBF is a current-mode synchronous step-down DC/DC converter circuit, part of the family of Low Dropout (LDO) or Linear voltage regulators by Linear Technology Corporation (LTC). It is built on a low dropout 100V process. Every application typically needs a voltage regulator that maintains or adjusts its output voltage reliably, regardless of changes in load or input voltage.
