PMIC - Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators
LT3511IMS#TRPBF is a monolithic synchronous step-down DC-DC switching regulator with a wide input voltage range and high efficiency designed for automotive applications. It integrates two N-channel MOSFETs and two synchronous rectifier for low rDS(on) to reduce conduction losses that increase efficiency, as well as its constant frequency, cycle-by-cycle current limit and accurate output voltage regulation3 or 4.5V to 56V. The LT3511IMSTRPBF is capable to deliver transient output currents of up to 6A with 0.75A minimum steady state output current and 2A switch current limit. Also, it includes several features to ensure fault protection like UVLO, thermally enhanced shutdown protection and short-circuit protection.

Working principle
