Introduction
The LT3694IUFD-1#TRPBF is a low dropout, low noise, high resolving current, high efficiency linear regulator with a synchronous triple output buck regulator. It is available in a 4mm x 4mm QFN package that makes it ideal for applications where board space is at a premium. With its low operating voltage, high efficiency and small solution size it is an excellent choice for powering processor cores, DDR memories, SSD controllers, ASICs and other digital ICs in space constrained applications.

Working Principle
The LT3694IUFD-1#TRPBF adopts a synchronous rectification switching topology to provide highly efficient step-down switching regulators with excellent line and load regulation characteristics. The device also features a low dropout linear regulator for low noise, low ripple and fast output voltage settling. The switching regulator uses a dedicated rectifier control circuit that synchronizes the switching frequency with the input voltage, which reduces the amount of output ripple and improves efficiency.
The switching regulation of the LT3694IUFD-1#TRPBF is controlled by an internal PWM controller. The device operates in two modes - Burst Modeoperation and Forced PWM Mode. In BurstMode operation, the device enters a low current sleep mode during light load current situations. This not only extends the battery life but also reduces heat dissipation and further optimizes power efficiency.
The LT3694IUFD-1#TRPBF also offers a low dropout linear regulator that allows stable and fast output voltage settling suitable for powering critical digital ICs.
