The LTC1854CG#PBF is a high-speed, successive-approximation, 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), which is part of the Data Acquisition - Analog to Digital Converters (ADC). This ADC comes with an integrated low cost, optimized performance features including 90dB SNR, ±1LSB INL, and extremely low distortion and glitch. It is designed for applications that require high accuracy and low power.
The LTC1854CG#PBF is suitable for a wide range of applications, for example, medical imaging, gas chromatography and signal acquisition and signal routing systems. It is used in several components in a system, and can be used in mix-signal, general-purpose and industrial applications. Then the results are fed back to the DAC, and another iteration will happen continuously until the quantized value accuracy expectation is reached. After the final iteration, the computed ADC code is available at the digital output which indicates the magnitude of the analog input.
Other features of the LTC1854CG#PBF include fast conversion and low power consumption, which allows it to save power since it can sense and convert signals as quickly as possible.
