Overview

The LTC2462IMS#PBF is an 18-bit Sigma-Delta ADC with an onboard reference. It provides SAR-based conversion without a separate reference voltage and a wide operating temperature range. Its capabilities allow it to be configured as either a single-ended or differential input. High accuracy and low noise performance make it ideal for a variety of data acquisition and control applications. Features of the device include differential and single-ended input options, 16x oversampling and selectable digital filtering.

The device operates from a single supply ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V and draws just 12.3mA typical current. Input range is set to ±2.5V, Vref is set to 2.5V and dynamic performance is 16-bit no-missing codes at 2.5V input over the full temperature range. Furthermore, it is available in 10-pin MSOP, 8-pin MSOP and 8-pin SOIC packages.
