Power management integrated circuits, more commonly known as PMICs, have become essential components in most modern electronic systems. The device can then be programmed to detect a power supply voltage higher than the threshold by selecting external resistors. The MR, ALPG and AHPG pins are asserted if the monitored voltage is lower or higher than its programmed trip point, respectively.
