The LTC3374EFE#TRPBF is a wide input voltage range, low-noise, high-efficiency, dual-output synchronous buck regulator step-down switching regulator specifically designed for use in portable applications. This regulator is capable of supplying up to 1A for primary output anda1A for Equal Output. It has an Enable inputs, Under Voltage Lockout (UVLO) and automatic Power Good Flag (PSGOOD) to indicate power-good status.

The LTC3374EFE#TRPBF has the unique ability to provide two regulated outputs, both of which are adjustable. A versatile operating frequency over the range of 100kHz to 1MHz allows the user to optimize efficiency and size of the power supply solution. The device can also be configured as a single output, dual-phase regulator, allowing greater than 1A of output current.

The LTC3374EFE#TRPBF can be configured with some of the widest input voltage range in the industry, ranging from 2.2V to 5.5V, providing multiple options for powering the device. Internal soft-start, thermal protection and phase-lock loop (PLL) all ensure device stability under varying operating conditions. An internal synchronous rectifying FET increases overall efficiency over a wide load range.

The LTC3374EFE#TRPBF can operate in PWM, pulse-skip, or pulse-skipping and Burst Mode® operation, preserving efficiency while maintaining the highest output voltage accuracy. Low output voltage ripple and noise are achieved with a small 4.7µF ceramic output capacitor. The PFMDCM control mode allows adjustable pulse-skipping frequency, helping to reduce the output voltage ripple further at light loads.

The LTC3374EFE#TRPBF requires very few external components and uses a fully integrated Phase-Locked Loop that prevents Burst Mode® operation from causing noise to interfere with communication links and other sensitive analog circuits. High EMI performance is maintained via constant on-time control, adjustable pulse-skipping, and an on-chip transformer filter.

The LTC3374EFE#TRPBF is housed in the thermally enhanced 4mm x 4mm QFN package, which further helps reduce board space and reduce cost. This device is ideal for applications where low noise, high efficiency and high EMI performance are desired. These include mobile phones, tablets, USB-PD applications and many other portable applications.
