The LTC3447EDD#TRPBF is a highly adaptable, monolithic synchronous step-down regulator that offers versatile power supply applications and circuit solutions. This DC-to-DC regulator provides constant on-time regulation, wide operating voltage and temperature range, and an adjustable switching frequency up to 2MHz. It also has excellent load and line regulation characteristics, output over current protection and thermal protection. The LTC3447EDD#TRPBF has been designed for medium power and widely used for electronic products. It is incorporated into single- and multi-channel board level power supplies for laptop, netbook, and tablet applications. With a wide operating voltage range from 2.7V to 28V, the LTC3447EDD#TRPBF is capable of wide input voltage for applications with higher voltage input supply. Its adjustable switching frequency enables the power supply design to have optimal efficiency at different frequencies over wide input voltage range. The step-down regulator of LTC3447EDD#TRPBF can operate in pulse-width-modulation (PWM) control, current-mode control, or adjustable hysteretic control. The combination of wide input voltage, adjustable switching frequency and various control modes allows designers a great degree of flexibility to reduce system cost and simplify their design process. The wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C makes the LTC3447EDD#TRPBF suitable for a variety of applications, such as automotive, industrial, and portable electronics.
