The LTC3600EMSE#PBF is a DC-DC switching regulator used for a wide range of applications.
A DC-DC switching regulator is an electronic circuit that steps down a voltage level by drawing current from a higher input voltage level and switching the current to a lower output voltage level. The LTC3600EMSE#PBF features a two-phase architecture that allows the output ripple current to be improved. The integrated boost switch has a fast transient response and a low RDS(ON) of 25 mΩ. An independent voltage reference ensures a high-accuracy output and low output impedance. The regulator includes a range of protection features such as cycle-by-cycle current limit, thermal shutdown and an open-drain over-voltage protection output.
