The LTC3610EWP#TRPBF is a synchronous step-down DC-DC regulator that is specifically designed to provide high-efficiency, low-noise power to large applications such as notebooks, game consoles, and small server systems. This device is a high-performance synchronous step-down switching regulator, providing 0.6 A of continuous output current at a programmable 1.2V to 5.5V output voltage from an input voltage range from 4.5V to 36V. The device can operate at a fixed 2.5MHz switching frequency and can be synchronized to an external clock, providing an easy way to minimize output noise and spread the generated switching noise. Furthermore, power management can be achieved by the device by its monitoring circuit, which can reduce the output voltage for light-load applications. Power sequencing can also be achieved by the shutdown and startup of the different output channels. The device also supports soft-start and delay functions, allowing the user to customize the output voltage rise and fall times.
