The LTC3831EGN-1#PBF is a high performance step-down switching regulator controller designed for use in applications that require high efficiencies and enabling of conversion from 24 V to 5 V. It features a programmable, switched-mode, pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller that can achieve efficiencies of over 95%. It integrates Burst Mode Efficiency Regulation (BMER) operation that helps optimize light load efficiency, while continuously monitoring and optimizing the efficiency of the main regulator over a wide range of power levels without any intervention from the system processor.
