The LTC6948IUFD-3#PBF is a low-noise clock generator and frequency synthesizer designed to provide high performance, reliable clock and frequency synthesizing solution in one integrated circuit. This versatile device provides a wide range of frequency synthesizer applications from medical, military and commercial markets. Because of its on-chip variation capabilities, the LTC6948IUFD-3#PBF is one of the most flexible clock synthesizers on the market.

The LTC6948IUFD-3#PBF is a highly integrated two loop PLL with voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and frequency synthesizer comprising a programmable divider and a loop filter. The device has a low-noise clock generator, low-noise VCO and low-noise reference buffer which enable it to provide superior performance in comparison to conventional discrete clock synthesizers. Its programs divider has a wide output frequency range of up to 200MHz and its high-accuracy reference buffer allows for range expansion with limited external components.

The programmable divider and fast settling time of LTC6948IUFD-3#PBF greatly simplifies system design in applications with multi-frequency operation. Its low area requirement, low power consumption and high-frequency flexibility make it suitable for wireless, digital and broadcast communication systems, portable audio and video systems, and general-purpose frequency-data converters.
