The LTC7801HUFD#PBF is a DC to DC switching controller designed for use in highest efficiency, low-input-voltage, isolated DCDCs. The LTC7801HUFD#PBF controller can operate from input voltages as low as 1.5V while providing a wide output range up to 36V with a high efficiency performance of up to 96%. It features a Compensated Peak Current Mode control, allowing it to regulate current across a wide load range, out of the box. The LTC7801HUFD#PBF also includes an integrated RSA (Ramp Set Amplifier) to minimize EMI (electromagnetic interference) noise, together with an on-board comparator and MOSFET driver.

The LTC7801HUFD#PBF can control both step-down (buck) and step-up (boost) converters, as well as flyback and SEPIC (Single Ended Primary Inductance Converter) topologies. It is also suitable for ultra-low-voltage systems requiring a strong synchronization between a wide range of input and output voltages, such as low-voltage, high-ampere-hour battery packs. The LTC7801HUFD#PBF also provides valley-mode compensation to improve the transient performance.
