The LTC®7810HLX DC-DC switching controller is a high-performance step-down DC/DC switching controller from the Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) voltage regulator family. It provides power conversion between an input voltage of up to 42V and a regulated 5V output. The device features a high-efficiency, low noise, and fast dynamic response control loop designed for use in synchronous buck DC/DC converters. It is capable of delivering a continuous output current of up to 18A and a maximum output power of 85W. Additionally, the LTC7810HLX has a low noise, no-load standby mode, which helps reduce power consumption.

The LTC7810HLX includes an adaptive on-time control phase-locked loop (PLL) architecture and high-resolution voltage control loop to provide superior load regulation, fast transient response, and high conversion efficiency over a wide range of input voltages and load conditions.
