The LV810FILFT is a low voltage high-performance LVTTL level fanout integrated circuit designed for driving multiple low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) lines. The LV810FILFT has multiple differential fanouts of LVTTL signals with the LVDS skew requirements of the LVDS destination device. In addition, LV810FILFT terminates the LVTTL signals, supports adjustable positive and negative LVDS output amplitude (VOD), and offers an internal 50 ohm termination (ZO) to minimize reflections.

The LV810FILFT is an ideal device for applications using enhanced LCD panel, such as high-resolution LCD monitors. This device can also be used in many other applications such as flat panel displays, digital video monitoring and audio/video processing circuits. The LV810FILFT supports LVDS transmitter features including zero skew time alignment, adjustable VOD and I/O data-rates up to 622Mbps. This device is available in low-voltage operation (1.2-3.3V).

The working principle of the LV810FILFT is based on the fanout of a single LVTTL input signal to multiple LVDS outputs, while maintaining a predetermined skew between outputs and low skew jitter. This is achieved by transmitting the LVTTL signal through the LV810FILFT on individually programmable delays to the LVDS outputs. The output signals then have the same transitions and levels as the LVTTL signals, but with the amplified amplitude needed for LVDS transmission.

The LV810FILFT also features an integrated 50 ohm termination that provides adjustable termination for input and output signals, helping to reduce reflections and improve signal integrity. It also supports adjustable output amplitude levels from 1.2V to 3.3V, allowing the user to customize the output signal for their particular application. Finally, it features a built-in test feature that allows the user to verify the pin-level functionality and performance of the IC before running their application.

The LV810FILFT is ideal for clocking and timing applications where multiple LVDS devices need to be driven from a single LVTTL source with minimal skew. The integrated LVTTL-to-LVDS fanout and zero skew time alignment allow it to drive multiple LVDS devices with very low input source-skew jitter and provide lower than required LVDS clock deglitching. This makes the LV810FILFT ideal for high-speed, high-performance communications, such as multi-gigabit, high-speed Serdes, PCIe and Gigabit Ethernet applications.

As a clock buffer or clock driver, the LV810FILFT is designed to drive multiple LVTTL signals to LVDS devices with low static power, low noise and high performance. By using a single clock source and a single clock output as opposed to multiple clock sources and multiple clock outputs, the LV810FILFT reduces system complexity and increases timing performance. Finally, with its low-pin count and small form factor, the LV810FILFT is an ideal solution for system designs that are space-limited or require very low power.
