Working Principle

The on-time of the switching is proportional to the current from the current-sense amplifier transistor. The frequency of the PWM signal is typically 1.17MHz.

Protection Features

The LX7302CLQ-TR protects the system from faults and over-current conditions with over-current protection (OCP) and over-temperature protection (OTP).OCP guards the system from over-current conditions in the power stage by limiting the output current in a safe range.OTP monitors the temperature of the system and forces the output off when the temperature reaches a critical level. This prevents damage to the device due to excessive temperature.
