LYT2002D-TL, is a high-end isolated DC-DC module under LYT-DC series products. It is a closed-loop isolated DC-DC converter integrated with monolithic IC and can provide up to 11.44W output power over an input voltage range of 9 to 36VDC and 19 to 75VDC. The module is applicable in telecom and industrial systems, providing high isolation, power density and excellent power consistency.

LYT2002D-TL is categorized under PMIC - AC DC Converters and Offline Switchers. The working of the module is based on two main components, the control IC and the power transformer. The Control IC consists of a low power resistor, a comparator, a voltage multiplier and a voltage regulator. The controller compares the input voltage with the output voltage and generates a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal. This signal is then amplified by the voltage multiplier and the output voltage is regulated by the voltage regulator. The PWM signal is then fed to the power transformer, which converts the input voltage to the required output voltage. The power transformer consists of an inductor, a power switch and a rectifier. The power switch is connected to the output of the voltage regulator and is responsible for the actual switching. When the power switch is turned on, the current through the inductor increases, increasing the output voltage. The rectifier takes the output of the power switch and converts it into the required output voltage.
