LYT2005K is a Positive AC/DC Non-frame Converter module that provides a high power density, high efficiency solution in a 75W - 500W range. It is ideal for LED lighting, small appliance, and other general purpose power applications. This module is ideal for applications that require efficiency of greater than 95%, extra small size, and a minimum of external components for ease of integration. It features integrated cooling fins for heat dissipation and integrated thermal shutdown protection for system activation.
LYT2005K provides AC/DC conversion from 85-265VAC input voltage range, with an efficiency of up to 95%. The output voltage can be adjusted between 5-48V and the output power can range from 75W to 500W. It features built-in active PFC that provides better input power factor and output ripple voltage below 200mV. The module operates at up to 1kHz switching frequency and provides over current, over temperature and over voltage protection. The application range of LYT2005K is ideal for applications such as medical equipment, datacom, telecom, motor control, industrial and residential equipment.
The working principle of the LYT2005K converter is based on a high frequency topology where the switching and control are optimized to minimize the powerloss, size and cost of the product. The incoming AC voltage is first rectified and filtered by the rectifier and filter circuit to produce the DC bus. This bus is used to control the output voltage to the desired level by the feedback loop. The switching regulator is used to reduce the voltage from the DC bus to the desired output level and also reduce the output ripples.
