Working Principle of the LYT2003D-TL
The LYT2003D-TL is a PWM current-mode controller that uses an internal high-voltage MOSFET. It uses a low-voltage MOSFET, Sense FET and Bootstrap Diode to create a Flyback-type circuit to provide an isolated power output. It employs a Pulse density modulation method for improved efficiency and reduced EMI generation. The PWM output is modulated based on the current feedback input, using an on-off slew rate control loop.
The LYT2003D-TL features an optional Undervoltage Lockout (UVL), which disables the output when the input voltage falls below a certain level. It also features an adjustable output voltage, a current limit and soft-start functions to protect the system from layer faults and overloading. In addition, the PWM control features and optimized loop regulation enable an extremely fast transient response and transient voltage spikes.
