Working Principle of the LYT2003D-TL

The LYT2003D-TL is a PWM current-mode controller that uses an internal high-voltage MOSFET. It uses a low-voltage MOSFET, Sense FET and Bootstrap Diode to create a Flyback-type circuit to provide an isolated power output. It employs a Pulse density modulation method for improved efficiency and reduced EMI generation. The PWM output is modulated based on the current feedback input, using an on-off slew rate control loop.

The LYT2003D-TL features an optional Undervoltage Lockout (UVL), which disables the output when the input voltage falls below a certain level.
