Application Field

Working Principle

The M95320-RMN6P SRAM can be divided into two main parts: a volatile array and a static array. The volatile array stores data in RAM cells. When power is removed, the contents of the volatile array are lost. The static array reads and writes data from the volatile array and is resistant to power outages. In other words, SRAM is non-volatile. The static array is powered by an internal low voltage power supply.

When the SRAM is powered up, the static array is state-stable, meaning that the data written to the cells will remain unchanged, even if power is removed.

The multiplexer helps the system to read and write data rapidly, while the two decoders detect any possible errors and the address counter ensures that the data is written and read in the right place.
