MAX11801ETC/V+T is a highly integrated single-chip Solution for the construction of touch-sensitive user interfaces. It provides an outstanding combination of precise capacitive touch sensing and powerful system control with the smallest Footprint. The device includes a powerful embedded processor with dedicated lightning algorithms, an internally regulated low-noise LDOs, and SPI or I2C interface options.
The controller combines an advanced self-compensating capacitive sensing engine, advanced signal conditioning and filtering, sensitivity control and electrically isolated drivers. With its built-in tuning and diagnostics functions, it provides easy and secure operation across a wide range of environmental conditions — from difficult high performance designs to more price-sensitive applications.
Application Field
The MAX11801ETC/V+T is ideal for a wide range of data acquisition and touch-screen controller applications, such as touchpads, switches, industrial control, automotive HMI, home appliances, consumer electronics and medical instruments. The controller also supports styli, finger and other human body objects, such as glove and dampness.
Additionally, the device is suited for cost-sensitive applications to support touch control on a device over its entire life cycle. The extremely low power consumption of the MAX11801ETC/V+T makes it possible to enable long battery life in battery-operated applications.
Working Principle
The key to the success of the MAX11801ETC/V+T touch controller is its advanced capacitive sensing engine, which works by detecting touch signals and rejecting noise interference.
