The MAX14782EATA is a multi-channel, twisted-pair transceiver (driving, receiving and controlling) family of interface devices manufactured by Maxim Integrated. This type of device is widely used in automotive, industrial and telecommunications systems and other applications with local area networks (LAN). The MAX14782EATA family is a full-featured device that supports a variety of applications, including IEEE 802.3, Ethernet and ATM. The MAX14782EATA provides communication between any two physically adjacent nodes on a twisted pair Ethernet cable. It has a built-in crossover circuit, allowing for data transmission cross-over. The receiving node can detect the same 7-bit bus protocol as the transmitting node, making it an ideal transmission link between any two devices.
