The MAX1698EVKIT evaluation board and accompanying software enables users to simply evaluate the performance of a high-current, high-efficiency, synchronous step-down switching regulator. The MAX1698EVKIT is designed to work with two input/output combinations: 24V/1A, and 24V/2A. For both combinations, the input voltage is adjustable from 28V to 24V. This output voltage is programmable for either 350mA at 2.2V or 500mA at 1.8V. The MAX1698EVKIT evaluation board provides a comprehensive kit of tools for testing and optimizing the regulator performance, which is designed for LED drivers.
The MAX1698EVKIT evaluation board is powered by a MAX1698PMB1L LED driver IC. It has an internal FET (Field Effect Transistor) and is capable of high-accuracy, high-efficiency, high-speed operation.
