MAX17201G+T is a highly integrated high accuracy fuel gauge and battery fuel supervisory IC that offers a comprehensive set of features for high-performance, high-capacity Li-Ion and Li-Polymer battery systems.

This device operates as a self-contained battery fuel gauge that uses a ModelGauge m5 algorithm to estimate battery capacity. It has internal voltage, current, and temperature sensing, interfacing to the host microcontroller through I²C, SMBus, and Maxim’s GaugeMo interface.
