This high-performance buck converter provides excellent accuracy by using low on-resistance internal MOSFETs, an internal voltage reference, and auto-zero current sensing. It achieves high-efficiency due to its proprietary Quick-PWM architecture, which allows for low-ripple operation and fast transient responses.The MAX1720EUTG has a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 24V and can operate with switching frequencies up to 500kHz. Its output voltage can be adjusted from 0.6V to 20V with an accuracy of ±3%. The output ripple is typically less than 10mV.
