MAX1760EUB+ Working Principle

The MAX1760EUB+ is a switching regulator, using PMOS and NMOS transistors to control the current flow between its input and output. In normal operation the voltage regulator switches between states in a fixed sequence, regulating the output voltage without allowing any current flow. Since the output voltage is regulated, it does not depend on the input voltage, but instead is always within a fixed range.
