Working Principle

The MAX1760HEUB+ is a high-efficiency, high-frequency switching voltage regulator. It is based on a synchronous buck topology and offers a 1MHz fixed switching frequency. The instantaneous output voltage is sensed by the internal error amplifier, which compares the sensed voltage with a reference voltage and sends control signals to the PWM logic to adjust the duty cycle of the switching.The MAX1760HEUB+ also features internal over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protection to provide a safe operating environment and extend the lifetime of the product.
