MAX1809ETI+ is a special-purpose voltage regulator that is part of the family of voltage regulator devices. It combines the advantages of a low quiescent current, low voltage drop out regulator with the additional unique feature of an input/output transformer isolation of up to 2kV. MAX1809ETI+ is designed to provide the regulated output voltage (Vout) level over a wide input range, even 3.3V, where other linear regulator ICs can suffer from over-current shutdown.

The MAX1809ETI+ is designed to work with input voltage of up to 18V and an output voltage from 0.8V to 25V. It also has an input current limit of up to 2A for an output peak current of 2A.
