MAX1837EVKIT is an evaluation kit for testing high-efficiency, synchronous step-down DC/DC converters with embedded FETs. This evaluation board provides a complete platform to evaluate the MAX1837, a monolithic, 1A synchronous step-down regulator with 70μA no-load supply current and a selectable fixed frequency of either 650kHz or 300kHz. The MAX1837EVKIT uses a single externally controlled 2.2μH inductor and an external capacitor to form a complete, easy-to-use solution for DC/DC regulator applications.
The MAX1837EVKIT is a convenient evaluation board to evaluate the features and performance of the MAX1837 in a DC/DC or AC/DC (off-line) SMPS (switch-mode power supply) application. It contains a 16-pin SOIC (Small Outline Integrated Circuit) package that is appropriate for most low voltage, low power applications.
