Working PrincipleThe MAX20754ETMA1+ uses a current-mode control architecture, featuring pulse width modulation (PWM) control to regulate the output voltage. The PWM signal is generated by an internal oscillator that requires few external components. The oscillator frequency is programmed through a single external resistor, and the output voltage is programmed through a single external resistor.The wide 2.7 V to 5.5 V input voltage range makes the MAX20754ETMA1+ suitable for a wide range of applications. The overvoltage protection of the device allows an input voltage up to 6.25 V.
