The amplifier operates in a wide frequency range from 10MHz up to 3GHz. As a single-stage amplifier, it does not require any external components for gain and uses the intrinsic gain provided by the MMICs.The MAX2654EXT-T has an integrated LNA (Low Noise Amplifier) for improved transceiver efficiency and sensitivity. The low-noise figure of 1.8 dB allows the amplifier to reduce the noise level present in the input signals.
