The MAX2769ETI+ is a next-generation, high-performance low-noise amplifier (LNA) designed to operate in the frequency bands from 824 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 2170 MHz. With its RF input power up to 22dBm and its low-noise figure (NF) of 1dB, the MAX2769ETI+ offers extremely low-power consumption and the best performance in its class. MAX2769ETI+ also includes a digitally adjustable gain control in a small 2.4mm X 3.0mm, 12-pin TDFN package.
The MAX2769ETI+ can be used in a wide range of RF receivers including mobile phone base stations, ON COFDM systems, WiMAX applications, point-to-point radio and telecommunications systems, satellite communications, and automotive applications. Additionaly, because of its design, the MAX2769ETI+ can be used with either base station or handheld antennas, making it a great choice for any RF receiver application.
The working principle of the MAX2769ETI+ is based on the classical LNA design. The LNA receives radio frequency (RF) energy and amplifies it to a level where it can be further processed, usually by a radio\'s circuits. In the MAX2769ETI+, this amplification occurs through the use of a two-stage low noise amplifier circuit, and the gain can be adjusted via an external digital control signal. This signal is provided through the MAX2769ETI+\'s on-chip serial port interface (SPI). This SPI control makes it easier for manufacturers to optimize the RF performance of their systems.
The MAX2769ETI+ has been designed to meet the most stringent of automotive applications, with its very low power consumption and noise figure.
