MAX4052AESE+ is an interface device for the Analog Switches, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers Field. It is a low-voltage, high-speed analog switch. The MAX4052AESE+ is a single low-voltage CMOS input/single SPDT switch in an 8-pin TDFN/uMax package.The device is designed to switch high-frequency signals at up to 1.2GHz and can operate from a low supply voltage of 2.7V, with a supply quiescent current of less than 8μA. Additionally, the low-voltage operation allows for use in portable/battery-powered applications.The MAX4052AESE+ utilizes an input/single SPDT switch configuration, which allows either an analog or digital signal to select between two signal sources. This SPDT switch feature offers superior isolation and superior signal transmission characteristics with up to -44dB isolation at 1GHz. Crosstalk on the device is also extremely low, with up to -50dB of lateral isolation at 1GHz. As its input is CMOS compatible, it can be used directly with many different logic families, including TTL, ECL, and CMOS, up to 5V.The device also offers a true single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch option, which allows user to program it to select from two different analog sources, enabling signal splitting and switching between signal sources. By controlling the input with a logic signal, the user can easily configure the MAX4052AESE+ to operate as a logic switch. When used as a logic switch, its wide voltage range allows it to work with logic families with different supply levels.The MAX4052AESE+ has a low power consumption, at 8μA (typ) over the full temperature range. Its low supply voltage of 2.7V enables it to be used in power-sensitive applications.
