The MAX4525CUB+T is an analog switch, multiplexer and demultiplexer device. It is designed to provide high-speed, low-power operation with extremely fast switching. The MAX4525CUB+T includes two ultra-low off-state resistance (R{off}) analog switches, two single-channel or dual-channel multiplexers, and one dual-channel demultiplexer all housed in a space-saving 5mm, 10-pin TDFN package. It operates over the full -40°C to +125°C temperature range and is specified for 1.8V and 3V digital supply voltages.

The MAX4525CUB+T can provide up to 0.6A of switch current and signals from 0V (ground) to the power supply voltage. The ultra-low on-resistance (R{on}) of 8Ω (typ) allows for extremely fast switching, and the low leakage current allows for high frequency operation. The device’s fast settle times (t{settle}) help to minimize system start-up and reduce power consumption.

The MAX4525CUB+T is ideal for use in a variety of interface and switching applications, including high-speed communications between components, the isolation and flow of AC signals and DC signals, or the multiplex or demultiplex of data and signals. Examples include low-power information display panels, portable data terminals, bridge and isolation amplifiers, line receivers, and inter-component microphone and loudspeaker switches.

The analog switches, multiplexers and demultiplexers offer low signal distortion, low power and fast switching. The analog switches feature an ultra-low R{off} of 0.08Ω and a low R{on} of 8Ω (typ) and can handle signal voltages up to 3V (VDD). The multiplexers and demultiplexers feature an ultra-low R{off} of 0.05Ω (typ) and can handle signal voltages up to 5V. The DMUX, in particular, is useful in demultiplexing audio signals, while the switches are useful in isolating, buffering and mixing signals.
