These devices simplify system design by combining the functionality of three basic devices in one package. This family of devices provides ease of use and flexibility, allowing engineers to quickly design circuits and address application requirements with one integrated device.The MAX4597DCKR a general-purpose switch/multiplexer/demultiplexer designed to handle single- or dual-supply applications. The MAX4597DCKR can be used to select, multiplex, or demultiplex signals with various control voltage options. The MAX4597DCKR provides high ON resistance (RON) and low ON capacitance (C ON ) values.The MAX4597DCKR is well-suited for analog switch applications, such as abs/inc encoder control, analog selector/multiplexers, and general-purpose multiplexers. It is also well-suited for audio applications, such as audio attenuation summing circuits, and for telecom applications such as message switching.The primary applications for the MAX4597DCKR are in systems requiring wide input ranges, such as 5V, ±12V and ±15V systems. It also includes a supply voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V with low supply current as low as 1.75 μA/ch. The MAX4597DCKR is designed to operate with a maximum supply voltage range of 2.7V-5.5V, allowing transistors and CMOS switches to operate under normal operating conditions.The MAX4597DCKR has three different multiplex/demultiplex functions- selection, multiplex, and demultiplex. Its selection input (SEL) is used to select one signal from four possible inputs, while its multiplex and demultiplex control inputs (DMUX and MX) can be used to select one of four different outputs. In addition, the MAX4597DCKR has four switches, allowing any signal to be connected to the desired output.In the selection mode, the MAX4597DCKR selects one of four inputs and connects it to the output. It has an enhanced switching voltage of 3V which can handle both low level and high level signals. It also provides high ON resistance (RON) and low on-capacitance (C ON ) values. This allows it to connect any signal to either side of the output, while minimizing ground bounce and preventing signal attenuation.In the multiplex and demultiplex mode, the MAX4597DCKR can connect up to four signals to one output or one signal to up to four outputs. With the help of the control inputs (DMUX and MX), the MAX4597DCKR can select the desired signal for connection. It also provides high ON resistance (RON) and low on-capacitance (C ON ) values, eliminating any need for additional circuitry.The MAX4597DCKR provides a wide range of features, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring multiplexing and/or demultiplexing. Its low supply current and high RON and C ON values make it a great choice for any application. In addition, its enhanced switching voltage of 3V makes it suitable for both low level and high level signals.
