Working Principle
The MAX4723EUA+ is made up of two circuitry, an N-channel MOSFET (metal-oxide semiconductor filed-effect transistor) multiplexer and a P-channel MOSFET demultiplexer. The N-channel MOSFET multiplexer circuit allows for the transfer of current from one input signal source to one output signal sink. The P-channel MOSFET demultiplexer circuit allows for the transfer of current from one output signal sink to one input signal source. The MAX4723EUA+ incorporates two sets of control pins that are used to select and eliminate the connection of one signal source to one signal sink. The control logic is implemented by two independent sets of two analog switches. The output of the N-channel MOSFET multiplexer is connected to the input of P-channel MOSFET demultiplexer and the control pins are used to control the ON or OFF state of these switches. The switches enable each of the two channels to be independently turned OFF or ON.
The MAX4723EUA+ has an excellent temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and can operate over a wide range of supply voltage without compromising performance. It provides excellent high speed switching performance with a low insertion loss and excellent hot-swap capability.
The MAX4723EUA+ is available in a small RoHS-compliant package and provides fast, low-noise switching performance with low power consumption.
