They offer low charge injection, low quiescent current and low power consumption. The switch can be operated with up to ±40V of independent power supplies and their flexibility extends to providing various logic families at the control logic terminals. Application Field of MAX4800CTM+

The MAX4800CTM+ is a versatile quad multiplexer/analog switch designed to handle analog signals within ±40V of independent power supplies. It is suitable for a variety of high-performance applications including data acquisition systems, high-speed sampling and control, instrumentation amplifiers and programmable gain amplifiers, analog switching, and voltage level shifting. Working Principle of MAX4800CTM+

The MAX4800CTM+ has four independently-selectable analog switches/multiplexers, each with a low ON-resistance of 8Ω (typically). The device also features a low Ron variation with a maximum of ±3% with a change in VDD from 0V to ±25V. The MAX4800CTM+ can select between a common node or one of the four input lines and eachswitch is controlled by a single logic input. The logic inputs can accept different logic families, including TTL, DTL, CMOS, and open collector logic.

The MAX4800CTM+ provides good immunity to EMI and ESD noise, due to its large pitch pins, making it suitable for applications in polluted environments.
