Working Principle

The switching frequency can be programmed to a wide range of frequencies, up to 20MHz. The MAX5015CSA-T also incorporates a selective switching technique, where the system can dynamically select the optimal output voltage and input power source according to the load conditions. This allows for efficient, fast transient response and reduces feedback loop complexity.
The MAX5015CSA-T includes a proprietary over-current and over voltage protection, a soft start feature (to prevent high inrush current) and a current sense feature, which improves efficiency through reduced current ripple.
