The MAX5048BATT-T is also capable of half-bridge, symmetrical and single-ended signal drive configurations, depending on the application.

When power is initially applied, the MAX5048BATT-T will automatically configure itself. The default configuration of the IC is a half-bridge, symmetrical drive and will only switch between ON and OFF states. The device is protected from overvoltage, current over-load and thermal over-load, assuring a robust operation and high reliability.
