Working Principle

The peak current through the driving transistors is the highest current possible, and it is then scaled down to the desired output current.

The MAX5065EAI+ also utilizes a proprietary thermal shutdown circuit, which responds to an overtemperature event before it becomes a hazard to the application and ensures that the total power dissipation of the system remains safely in its operating range.
