MAX5903ACEUT+T is a high accuracy Hot Swap™ controller for applications that require maximum fault protection and precise power sequencing for card inserts and removals. The Hot Swap controller provides up to 12A of inrush current limiting of ground-referenced loads, adjustable foldback current limiting to prevent overloading, accurate supply-voltage margining, and user-programmable control of thermal protection, fault-recovery, and sequencing-timing sequences. By combining a unique combination of features, the MAX5903ACEUT+T offers superior protection while providing a high degree of flexibility in implementing advanced fault-recovery, sequencing and thermal protection schemes.
