When the load current reaches the soft start threshold, the device enters the soft start mode and adjusts the load current using an adjustable soft start ramp rate.In an over-temperature event, the MAX5921FESA+ automatically shuts off the load to protect the system. Additionally, it features inverse-current protection and over-voltage protection for increased safety.
