The MAX6445UK29L+T is a supervisor device which is new to the series of Micro Power Supervisors and Sequencers. This device offers a combination of ultra-low standby current, fast digital debounce, high temperature operating range and a unique digital input to monitor a valid power-on reset button or an open/short circuit detect line. With robust features and efficient power management, this supervisor device is suitable for a wide range of industrial and consumer applications.The MAX6445UK29L+T specializes in monitoring valid power-on reset signals. It contains a low voltage regulator with a low-impedance power-on reset, supervisory and brownout circuitry. The power-on delay block automatically extends the power-on reset signal duration without adding additional components. The Input/Output (I/O) pins can be used to detect an open/short circuit detect line or to drive an opto-coupler. It has an adjustable threshold voltage (3V to 5.5V). Additionally, it has an open-drain reset output which is suitable for driving logic low signals to the host processor or other devices.

The MAX6445UK29L+T is ideal for application areas such as computers, telecommunications, consumer electronics, industrial automation and automotive. It supports a wide temperature range (–40°C to +125°C) and is RoHS compliant. It can also be used in systems requiring very low standby current and fast digital debounce.
