Similarly, when the supply voltage rises above V MAX , the device will output an active-low Reset signal.The Reset signal can be used to signal other components in the system, such as a microcontroller, that the supply voltage is outside of the specified tolerance and needs to be corrected. The Reset signal will remain active until the supply voltage falls back within the specified tolerance.The MAX6701ALKA+T also has an active-high Signal output to indicate when the supply voltage is within the specified tolerance. This signal can be used to signal other components in the system, such as a microcontroller, that the supply voltage is within the specified tolerance and can be used. The Signal output is active-high when the supply voltage is between V MIN and V MAX , and inactive when the supply voltage is outside of the specified tolerance.The MAX6701ALKA+T can be programmed with an internal trim pot or an external reference voltage, allowing the user to customize the V MIN and V MAX threshold voltages according to their application requirements.
