The MAX6731AUTZD3+T is built using advanced bipolar CMOS 5V and 3V technologies to ensure operation across a wide temperature range and provide maximum accuracy.

The supervisor chip consists of two voltage reference circuits and six power supplies, each with a programmable high and low trip point for an under voltage and/or an over voltage detection, as well as over voltage and under voltage power-fail comparators. The monitoring of up to 6 supply voltages and distance to trip points as well as the overriding power-fail comparator input guarantees situation-appropriate timing of the output signals. The MAX6731AUTZD3+T accurately monitors and responds to power supply voltage levels in real time and uses various analog and digital techniques to ensure a fast and accurate response in an economical form factor. Once power supply voltage reaches the set trip point, the supervisor would immediately generate a digital long reset output to alert the controller IC and issue a system reset. The device also incorporates adjustable reset delays to provide manual overrides of reset outputs and prevent false triggering of reset outputs due to false voltage conditions.
