PMIC, short for power-management integrated circuits, are chips used to enable electrical systems to start up, shut down, and perform other power management related tasks. Supervisors, a category of PMICs, help monitor the power supply to an electronic system, as well as control system reset and provide user-programmable timeout functions. Of all PMICs, the MAX6750KA32/V+T is a particularly reliable, low-power supervisor IC with extensive features for flexible system power management.
