The MAX6765TTLD2+T is a versatile, high-accuracy, high-precision, low-power, low-supply-current Isolation Voltage Transformer (IVT) intended for use as voltage isolation supervisors and power supply supervisors in power management integrated circuits (PMICs). The device provides single-voltage monitoring at either the input or output of a PMIC for a wide range of highly accurate supply and supervisor voltage thresholds.Application Fields
The MAX6765TTLD2+T offers many advantages as an isolation voltage transformer in a number of different device application fields. The device offers high-accuracy on-chip monitoring of both silicon power supply and supervisor voltage thresholds which provides a cost-effective alternative to external monitoring circuitry. The MAX6765TTLD2+T operates by monitoring the voltage at either the input or output of a PMIC, depending on the specific application. When the monitored voltages exceed their respective thresholds, the device turns on an internal LED, which is followed by an open drain output going low. The MAX6765TTLD2+T has two supervisor voltage thresholds: VDD_HI and VDD_LO. VDD_HI is used to detect overvoltage conditions and prevent the overvoltage of the PMIC, while VDD_LO is used to detect undervoltage conditions, such as when the system voltage is too low to properly power the PMIC. The device has two LEDs for threshold trip indications, VDD_HI and VDD_LO.
