The MAX6769TASD0+T is a PMIC (Power Management IC) Supervisors that provides versatile power-on reset and supply-voltage monitoring for applications with an ultra-low power consumption.

The MAX6769TASD0+T provides cost-effective, integration of multiple system-supplies with a high-accuracy, temperature-compensated bandgap reference with a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The MAX6769TASD0+T provides a wide variety of reset timing, reset sequencing, reset pin-off protection, soft-start circuits, independent supply-voltage monitors, power-on reset (POR) and precision voltage monitoring.

The MAX6769TASD0+T incorporates an internal temperature-compensated bandgap reference providing a reference voltage of 2.5V at 25°C which is accurate to within ±0.5% over the temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. This reference is available externally for use in other circuits with the reference input pin connected to VOUT.

The MAX6769TASD0+T provides four precision voltage comparators to monitor up to four supply voltages. All four comparators provide a wide range of adjustable user-selectable trip points as well as additional analog control inputs to allow complex voltage monitoring. This allows the device to watch multiple supply voltages, resetting the system if any supply voltage is below the user-programmable threshold. It also allows for the simultaneous monitoring of multiple supply voltages.

The MAX6769TASD0+T contains a wide variety of reset timing, sequencing and power-on reset (POR) parameters. A user-programmable reset timer allows for selectable reset timing from 2ms to 64ms. There is also a power-on conditioner allowing for a user-programmable reset delay from 16ms to 64ms. A user-selectable reset pin-off protection is included to prevent accidental powering down of the system. A soft-start circuit allows the user to control the input voltage transition with adjustable voltage ramps. The soft-start circuit can also be disabled to maximize ripple rejection.

The MAX6769TASD0+T can be supplied in a 14-pin SOIC package or a small 16-pin QFN package with support for an adjustable operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It is an ideal choice for monitoring multiple system-supplies in any low-power device with a wide variety of reset timing, reset sequencing, reset pin-off protection and soft-start circuits.
